While wearing this amulet, you gain the ability to channel the energy of your spirit into a manifestation similar to a dragonborn’s breath weapon. Each amulet is attuned to a different type of dragon, based on the metal and/or gemstones it bears.

When an attuned wearer of the amulet uses it, they gain access to a breath weapon attack:
Breath Weapon: You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. The draconic attunement of the amulet determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation.
When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level.
The breath weapon attack can be used at will, but requires a hit dice to activate. If activated while a character has no hit dice remaining, half of the damage dealt by the use of the breath weapon is dealt back to the wearer.
There are legends of greater versions of these amulets, which allow the wearer to choose which breath weapon to use, but require two hit dice to activate.
